Benenden School seeks to appoint the following position from September 2023 to work within this thriving Music Department with stunning new, purpose-built facilities.

The successful candidate will be an inspirational figure who is able to teach Violin up to and beyond Grade 8. This is a Visiting Teacher role on our Associate Staff, currently amounting to around 6-8 hours a week, but with scope for development.

Benenden is one of the leading boarding schools in Britain. Founded in 1923, the School is situated in 250 acres of attractive parkland in Kent. There are 550 girls in the school, aged 11-18, the majority of whom are boarders, complemented by approximately 30 day boarders.

Benenden is at the forefront of girls’ education in the UK, with recent innovations including the Benenden Diploma, a bespoke curriculum for our youngest two year groups, and the Professional Skills Programme, teaching the Sixth Form skills for the workplace.

Meals are provided to staff whilst on duty. The School’s leisure facilities, including a fitness gym and swimming pool are available for staff to use.
