We have educated more than 5,000 Benenden Seniors since the School was founded in 1923. Benenden has made many enhancements to its education provision over the years – investing in facilities, broadening the curriculum, extending activities outside the classroom and developing its pastoral care.
The Complete Education enjoyed by Benenden pupils today has in large part been made possible by the generosity of support provided by the Benenden community.
We thank everyone who has contributed to the School and we hope to inspire further support for our current initiatives to realise the Centenary Vision, our development plan which will take us to our milestone 100th anniversary in 2023/24.
The School works hard to maintain its position as one of the leading schools in the UK by helping to fund outstanding teaching and learning facilities. In addition we aspire to give more girls the opportunity of a first-rate Benenden education by raising funds for means-tested bursaries.
Past support has positively influenced almost every aspect of school life: recent projects include the building of an All-Weather Pitch and Pavilion, additional on-site staff housing, our state-of-the-art Science Centre, the Clarke Study Centre and Eugenia Leung Library, the Theatre, the Fitness Centre and the Eco-Classroom.
We are also incredibly excited to have moved into and begun using the fantastic new Centenary Hall and Sir David K.P. Li Music School. This state of the art facility will benefit every girl enormously and helps to equip Benenden for our exciting second century at the forefront of secondary education.
We hope you enjoy learning more about the Centenary Vision and the development initiatives underpinning this ambitious plan.
