After being sorely missed last year, the annual Two Generation Sports event at Benenden returned this weekend better than ever – the event was hugely successful and great fun was certainly had by all!
Bathed in late summer sunshine, parent and daughter teams battled it out in light-hearted competitions in Croquet, Badminton, Rounders, Tennis and Cricket – which was on offer for the first time this year.
There was also a highly entertaining Lacrosse match played between our current 1st team and a team comprising recent Seniors.
There was a fantastic community feel to Guldeford Green, with families enjoying the delicious barbeque and chancing their luck on the raffle – which raised an incredible £1500 for charity.
Huge thanks to the Parents’ Events Committee who organised and assisted with the raffle and to a number of students who sold the tickets on the day.
