Two Gen Sports Enjoyed By All!

Two Generation Sports which took place last weekend was a wonderful occasion, with the School filled with families enjoying the annual event.

Teams of parents and daughters battled it out in light-hearted competitions in Tennis, Croquet, Badminton and Rounders, before gathering on Guldeford Green for a delicious barbecue.

In addition, pupils and parents had the chance to take part in a raffle and a coin line for some of the charities we are supporting.

The raffle raised a fantastic £1,120, which has gone to The Weald Family Hub Charity, and the coin trail raised £530 for the charities we are supporting with our Nepalese Trek, The Gurkha Welfare Trust, Bloom Nepal and The Pahar Trust Nepal, which you can read more about later in the Bulletin.

Huge thanks to the Parents’ Events Committee who manned the tent and to a number of Sixth Formers who sold the tickets on the day.

There was also a highly entertaining Lacrosse match played between our current 1st team and a team comprising recent Seniors. Our current girls raced into a 4-0 lead before the Seniors rediscovered some of their form that was so successful during their Benenden days, and the contest eventually ended in a 7-7 draw.
