Our annual House Shout was as lively and fun as ever during the first weekend of term.
House Shout took place on Sunday and, as ever, it was fantastic to see five year groups working so well together, and with such energy and enthusiasm. The standard was extremely high and our adjudicators – Benenden Seniors Charlotte Boyle and Olivia Wollaston – were given the very hard task of picking winners for the Singing and Production prizes.
After some careful deliberation, and justified praising of all the performances, they selected Hemsted for the Production cup for their interpretation of ‘Take a Hint’ from ‘Victorious.’ The 100 year old Singing shield was presented to Echyngham whose skilful and varied performance of ‘Sax’ by Fleur East was, in the eyes of the neutrals at least, a worthy winner!
