In December 16 students departed from Benenden School to embark on a 16 day expedition to Nepal.
This is the first time that the School has undertaken this type of expedition which relied on all of the planning being conducted by the supporting staff. The expedition involved a nine day trek to the Annapurna Base Camp followed by charity visits to the Gurkha Welfare Trust and Bloom Nepal (an independent boarding school).
The expedition and visits proved immensely successful and undoubtedly had left a profound effect on the students.
