Summer Programme off to a Flying Start

The Summer Programme for Upper Fifth and Six Two has got off to a flying start with sessions on Day One running on cookery with Katsu chicken, sign language, the Extended Project, R coding, Russian for beginners, Excel and archaeology, as well as the Foundation A Level courses for the Upper Fifth and the start of the university-style academic project and TEFL course for Six One. Lectures this week have included How to Read a Scientific Article, The Invention of the Jet Engine, Why Should I Give to Charity and How to Listen to Music in a Lockdown. Some highlights from next week’s lecture programme are Covid-19 in the age of MeToo, an Introduction to Gender Studies, Research Methodologies and Getting Even: Revenge as a Form of Justice.
