Students Host Cultures in Industry Event

As part of Cultures Week, Six Two pupils Marianna and Fara ran a special virtual event focussing in Cultures in Industry.In the Cultures in Industry discussion, Fara and Marianne and their three guest speakers explored a range of themes relating to an individual’s culture in their professional environment.They were joined by Emay Enemokwu, owner and founder of clothing brand Jehu-cal, Tiwa Ogunlesi, founder of positivity coaching practice Confident and Killing It, and TJ Sawyerr, a model, director and activist.The panellists spoke on topics including how their culture influences their work, their ability to express their culture through their industry, improvements that should be made, and what advice they would give to young people.It was a fascinating and thought-provoking evening.
