Students Hear from Pen Pals in Paris

French students in the Upper School were thrilled to receive their latest letters from pen pals at a school in Paris. Six Two (Year 13) student Mia reports:For the past few months, we have been exchanging letters with students from a school in Paris.We were each assigned a penpal – mine is called Maïsenne – and we write in both French and English to practise reading and writing in each other’s language. The letters have helped us with translation skills, such as vocabulary and grammar (and even our artistic skills!).It’s so fun getting to know someone from the country whose language you are studying, and getting to share things like photos of our pets and our favourite songs! I really enjoy being able to interact so directly with French culture, while also making new friends along the way.
