Students in our Combined Cadet Force – a joint initiative between Benenden and The John Wallis Church of England Academy – recently enjoyed an action-packed residential trip at a thrilling summer camp in Crowborough.
The trip gave our Cadets the chance to try a range of activities, including kayaking, mountain biking, raft building, paintball, laser tag, clay pigeon shooting, and much more.
Six One (Year 12) student Zara said: “We learnt a variety of military skills alongside these activities that were engaging and exciting.
“Not only did we become a more close-knit contingent –being there for each other in the exercises – we also got to know the other Cadets on camp with us.
“I had great fun with all the other Cadets; there was so much to do that I cannot wait until next year to go back!”
