Spanish Language Students Enjoy Visit to Málaga

After having been forced by Covid travel restrictions to cancel so many trips abroad, the School is delighted that a group of Fifth (Year 10) and Upper Fifth (Year 11) Spanish students has finally had the chance to venture to Málaga recently.Relishing the authentic experience, pupils enjoyed a wonderful time in Spain in spite of the sepia-toned Saharan sands surrounding them.As well as delighting in opportunities to practise their Spanish speaking, the group also visited the Alcazaba palatial fortification in Málaga, saw the landmark Roman Teatro Romano de Málaga, witnessed Picasso’s birthplace, spent some time shopping (and sampling the local cuisine) and even posed on the Málaga Film Festival’s red carpet.

An excellent time was had by all involved, as the trip marked a welcome move towards freer travel and greater opportunities for Benenden students to experience cultures abroad.
