On Monday 16 September, we were delighted to welcome Mike Nicholson, Director of Recruitment, Admissions and Participation at Cambridge University, along with Seniors Audrey Davidson-Houston (2023 leaver) and Deborah Akinsanya (2024 leaver) to Benenden to share their expert knowledge on the Oxbridge admissions process.
Addressing students, staff and families from Benenden and 8 other schools in Kent, they gave a comprehensive overview of the Oxbridge application process including guidance on writing a personal statement, and an informative introduction to undergraduate life. In addition, a Q&A session ensured all questions from the audience were answered.
It was a particularly informative evening and we are very grateful to our guest speakers for sharing their knowledge and experience.
