Some of Benenden’s delighted Sixth Form leavers have shared their reflections on a terrific set of A Level results.
Tammy Lee, one of Benenden’s top performers who achieved straight A*s in Chemistry, Economics, Maths and Further Maths, said: “I’m really happy with my results, I didn’t expect it at all. With all the stories in the news around grade boundaries at the minute, I was worried about what I would get – but I’m really pleased.”
Looking ahead to the near future, she added: “I’m off to study Economics at LSE in September, which I’m really looking forward to!”
Another outstanding student, Constance Strafford, achieved A*s in Economics, History, Politics and the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), and is looking forward to joining Durham University.
She said: “I’m very happy – very pleased. It’s so unexpected! I’m very thankful for all of the support from my teachers, and everyone at Benenden. I’m going to Durham to study ancient history, it’s really exciting!”
Asked how she was planning to celebrate, Constance added: “I’m going out to dinner with my parents this evening – to celebrate that hard work really pays off!”
- Benenden is celebrating its Centenary in the 2023-24 academic year, having been founded in September 1923.
