Girls Enjoy Comprehensive Remote Sport and Exercise Programme

Benenden’s Sport and Exercise team have put together a fantastic programme for girls to follow from home, with new workouts being uploaded daily.

Despite the limitations presented by the current situation, staff and pupils have enjoyed staying active at home by participating in a range of different activities.

The Sport and Exercise programme has so far included videos that guide pupils through a total body workout, a Pilates routine, dumbbell sessions, running challenges and skill and fitness sessions – with new videos being uploaded daily.

Girls have found creative ways to exercise and are competing in several activity-based challenges such as the 2.6 challenge, which is designed for people to take part in activities based around the numbers 2.6 or 26 and raise money for charity.

The start of May also saw pupils and staff embark on the May Mountain Challenge. The challenge tasks people with scaling the height of the highest peak in the UK, Europe or even the Seven Summits using just their staircase at home.

Benenden’s Sport and Exercise team are keen to share their video workouts with the wider community, encouraging everyone to keep up their activity levels at home. The following videos are available to view here:
