Benenden’s musical ensembles gathered in the Centenary Hall for what was the last performance for many of the Six Two (Year 13) students.
With more than 200students involved from across all seven year groups, including a one-off performance by the combined Symphony and Concert Orchestras, it was a fitting way to mark a significant year of music and for the audience to enjoy the wide range of styles on show.
The music included a world premiere of a string piece by David Knotts as well as Gustav Holst’s Mars, and music by Vivaldi, Corelli, Gershwin, Jamiroquai and Take That. The eclectic programme was much enjoyed by students, staff and parents.
