Our Combined Cadet Force were trained in fieldcraft and tactics during a CCF field day held in the School grounds.
In freezing temperatures, Benenden Student cadets, together with cadets from The John Wallis Church of England Academy, practised field signals, concealment, moving with weapons, morse and building shelters. They showed impressive fieldcraft skills and teamwork, taking on the challenges with dedication and resilience.
Benenden is one of the few girls’ schools in the UK to run a CCF contingent, giving students the chance to develop personal responsibility, leadership, and self-discipline through a military approach.
