Benenden brought the Autumn Term to a close in spirited and festive style with a variety of Christmas-themed events and activities.
Over the last weekend of the term, students across all middle school Houses enjoyed an energetic disco with guest DJ and photobooth, a Winter Fair organised by the Weekend Programme with visiting stalls selling a range of treats and goodies, and the traditional end of term Carol Services.
Across separate Lower and Upper School Services, students, staff, parents and Seniors enjoyed a programme of stunning Christmas carols sung beautifully by the Benenden Chapel Choir, who had worked tirelessly across a programme of rehearsals and performances.
The next day, several of the School’s ensembles gave a lively Lunchtime Concert performing a range of Christmas classics, while an audience of students and staff enjoyed mince pies.
In the final days of term, a stunning Choir Concert was given, Mark Reading saw prizes handed out and a raucous rendition of the traditional Twelve Days of Christmas, students competed fiercely in Inter-House Lax, and finally, everyone enjoyed a delicious Christmas lunch before heading home for the holidays.
