The Chapel Choir at Benenden are working hard preparing for their latest collaboration with composer David Bednall.
His sequence of Christmas Carols – Make We Merry – for upper voices, brass, percussion and organ is exciting and beautiful in equal measure and we are sure it is going to be popular with choirs across the UK and beyond after it is published by Oxford University Press in 2019. In the meantime, we have the honour of giving the World Premiere, taking place in St Peter’s Eaton Square, London at 1.15pm on Tuesday 4 December . The recital will last approximately 40 minutes – perfect for some lunchtime entertainment.Admission is free.
