Choir sings at King’s College Cambridge

The Chapel Choir have sung in some remarkable buildings in the UK and beyond over the years, but the concert in the Chapel of King’s College Cambridge felt like something of a peak.

The girls responded magnificently to the challenge of singing the ever-demanding but ever-rewarding Stabat Mater in a hugely resonant acoustic, and doing battle with the famous Harrison and Harris organ.

We were honoured and delighted that the concert was given a welcome plug on BBC Radio 3 Breakfast as well!

Singing this music, which they know so well and love singing to a very large audience, was a stunning way to finish a busy musical term, and the girls more than deserve their Easter break!
