Congratulations to Toni in Fifth on being chosen as our Poet Laureate for the 2024-2025 academic year. The role includes many aspects of being a literary ambassador including organising open mic events in the fiction library, writing commissioned poetry for major School events and receiving one-to-one mentoring from Ms Morley, our School Librarian and an editor and poet herself.
Toni is excited about the year ahead: “This is the perfect opportunity to not only display my own writing, which I happily do, but also incite the the same joy I find writing poems in other people.”
