Benenden Hosts Sixth Form Conference

Today Benenden hosted Sixth Form students from across the South East at our third annual business conference, called Enterprising Minds: Creating Impact in a Fast-Changing World.

Speakers at today’s conference – sponsored by Not Just Travel Andrew Wenham – were:
– leading business collaboration figure and Tedx speaker Rich Watkins
– award-winning communications leader Sophy Norris
– sustainability expert Benet Northcote
– consultant, business mentor and leadership coach Steve Paul
– startup investment expert Max Royde
– the pioneer of fashion guide Tagwalk, Alexandra Van Houtte

In her opening address, Benenden Headmistress Rachel Bailey warned student delegates they are living in a time of “extraordinary complexity” but that the opportunities for them are “immense”.

Ms Bailey urged students to embrace the fast-changing world, seize opportunities, and absorb the insights shared throughout the day. “Success isn’t just about profit,” she concluded. “It’s about purpose, resilience, and creating something that matters.”

More than 160 Sixth Form students attended from six different schools, both independent and state.
