Congratulations to Lily Hill, Ella Bachrach and Charlotte Roberts who won the National Schools Team Dressage Championships over Half Term to see Benenden become National Champions.
The team qualified for the Championships in June by winning their heat and then travelled to Keysoe in Bedfordshire in October for the National Championships. Here they competed for a weekend against the top dressage teams from schools across the country.
The standard of dressage at the Championships was very high and particular congratulations go to Lily who delivered the top score of the day, which combined with strong performances by both Ella and Charlotte enabled the team to secure the win.
In addition to the team success, there were individual successes. Lily won the Novice warm up class with a fantastic score of 86.61%.
Ella had also qualified for the Elementary individual competition where she gave a good performance to achieve 12th place. In addition, she had the honour of being selected for the ‘rest of the world’ team for the Nations Cup class and her team was third.
