Following the recent Grey Jumper (Prefect) appointments, our students took part in an induction day with the Tonbridge Praes at Tonbridge School, filled with character-building and leadership exercises designed to support their transition into their new roles.
The day featured a leadership and team building activity where both groups collaborated to strengthen teamwork and communication. A seminar on voice projection further developed their ability to communicate confidently and effectively.
Later, all participants came together for a seminar on self-care, mindfulness, and coping with imposter syndrome. These valuable tools aim to support students in managing the demands of their Prefect roles while enhancing their existing skills to go above and beyond in their positions.
To round off a successful and enriching day, the Grey Jumpers and Praes enjoyed a BBQ in the Smythe Library garden, a perfect opportunity to relax and connect.
