There are 550 students in the school, aged 11-18. Benenden is at the forefront of girls’ education in the UK, with innovations including the Benenden Diploma, a new centenary curriculum with Elective courses, and the Professional Skills Programme, preparing the Sixth Form for the future world of work.

Benenden offers its own generous pay structure, responsibility allowances and benefits. All staff joining the school are eligible to apply for on-site accommodation if this is available. Staff are provided with meals whilst on duty, catering for all tastes and dietary requirements. The School’s leisure facilities, including wonderful grounds, a fitness gym and swimming pool are also available for staff to use.

We want to attract, retain, and develop diverse talent at all levels, so that we are a great school, but also so that our students feel and understand the power and depth of a diverse community. This means recruiting from the widest possible pool of talent, removing barriers that can prevent people from showing their full potential, and fostering a fully inclusive environment which maximises collaboration and empowers everyone.
