Development
at Benenden

Since the founding of the School in 1923, we have educated more than 6,000 Benenden Seniors. The Complete Education enjoyed by Benenden pupils today has been made possible in large part by the generosity of support provided by the Benenden community. We are immensely grateful to all those who continue to give generously to the funding of key projects and of their time in support of the School and its students.

Past
Support

The School works hard to maintain its position as one of the leading schools in the UK by helping to fund outstanding teaching and learning facilities. In addition we aspire to give more girls the opportunity of a first-rate Benenden education by raising funds for means-tested bursaries.

Past support has positively influenced almost every aspect of school life: the generosity of our community has contributed recently to our All-Weather Pitch and Pavilion, additional on-site housing, our state-of-the art Science Centre and previously to the Clarke Study Centre and Eugenia Leung Library, the Theatre, the Eco-Classroom and the Fitness Centre.

It is also incredibly exciting to be using the wonderful Centenary Hall and Sir David K.P. Li Music School; we are hugely grateful to all members of our community who donated towards this project and made it possible. This outstanding facility is extremely beneficial to every student and is helping to equip Benenden for its exciting second century at the forefront of secondary education.

Words from
the Headmistress

“Benenden wouldn’t be where it is today without the extraordinary generosity of parents, Seniors and Friends of the School. With our spectacular new Centenary Buildings now complete, we are excited to launch the Centenary Campaign; an initiative that will transform boarding provision, rejuvenate SPLASH and allow us to transform more lives through the Be the Change bursary and partnerships initiative.”

Samantha Price, Headmistress
