Leavers' Destinations

We are incredibly proud of the impressive higher education destinations of Benenden girls. The most popular university destinations for Benenden students are Oxford, Cambridge, London, Edinburgh, Durham, Bristol and Exeter, and more than a dozen girls from the past three years are studying in Canada and the States.

Below we list the higher education destinations of our 2018 leavers in detail and here we share the breakdown of the year's destinations at a glance:

  • 86 per cent gained First choice Institution
  • 79 per cent Russell group Institution
  • Four per cent International destination
  • 41 per cent Top 10 UK University*
  • 10 per cent Top 10 World University*
  • Eight Benenden girls (including those who applied post-A Level) secured Oxbridge places
  • Seven girls are now studying Medically-related degrees

In addition, approximately 25 per cent of Sixth Formers will make a post-A Level application, with a superb Careers support service for students who have left the School, including a university mentoring programme.
